Location and access
Pension “V stráni“ (In the Hillside) is a recreational complex of buildings situated in beautiful surroundings of Low Tatras in the mountain village Mýto pod Ďumbierom lying on the foothill of both Ďumbier mountain peak and Chopok mountain peak.
Equipment and services
We offer three standards of accomodation: • 1) Accommodation in the pension includes 5 double-bed rooms stylishly furnished. Additional beds are available in three rooms. Each room has its own bathroom, fridge, TV/SAT, radio, minibar and free internet connection. • 2) The apartment, which is part of the pension, has its own bedroom, fully equipped kitchen (gas cooker, fridge, and microwave) connected with the dinning room with two additional beds, bathroom, TV/SAT and radio. • 3) The cottage offers accomodation for up to 6 persons in three double rooms with the possibility of two additional beds. There is a bathroom with a shower stall and a toilet shared between the rooms and fully equiped kitchen with a fridge, gas cooker, microwave and a coffee maker. Dinning room is connected with living room with a fire place, TV/SAT and CD player. Heating is provided by hot-air fire place. • Restaurant with capacity for 24 poeple is a part of the pension. Our kitchen offers wide range of traditional meals typical for the region. As a additinal service we provide terrace in the summer season for 20 people. The pension has opened bicycle rental for the guests.
Recreation and services in surroundings
Low Tatras have excellent winter sport opportunities, such as skiing, snowboarding, ski alpinism, etc. Ski centre with new chair-lift (400m), Ski Jasná Chopok Juh (10km), Tále ski centre (5km), Čertovica (10km), cross-country tracks Osrblí. Many possibilities for hiking in summer: mountains Ďumbier, Chopok, caves Bystrianska jaskyňa and Jaskyňa mŕtvych netopierov. Golf course Gray Bear Tále (18 holes) and open-air swimming pool.
