Koliba u dobrého pastiera is situated in valley Čudkovská dolina, near the town Ružomberok, around are mountains, beautiful mountain area where meats basin Liptovská kotlina with peaks of Chočské vrchy, Velká Fatra (Big Fatra) and Nízké Tatry (Low Tatras).

Ružomberok has ideal location, from the edge parts starts attractive tourist hiking trails, distance to caves Demanovská jeskyňa and Demänovská ľadová jaskyňa is 30km.
