Location and access
Cottage Repiská is located directly in the Demänovská valley, not far from the Freedom Cave. It is one of the highest private cottages in this valley. In winter you can ski from Chopok to the cottage and in summer the cottage is an excellent starting point for hikes. Hiking trails only 200m. Resort Demänovská dolina - Jasná offers excellent conditions for skiers in winter and beautiful hikes in the Low Tatras in summer.
Equipment and services
Cottage Repiská has 2 separate parts, ground floor and first floor. The ground floor with separate entrance contains 2 triple rooms with extra bed, kitchen with complete cooking equipment, refrigerator, kettle, microwave and seating area. The first floor with separate entrance has 3 triple rooms and 1 double room with extra bed, kitchen with complete cooking equipment, refrigerator, kettle, microwave, hall with sitting area, toilet and bathroom. The cottage has gas central heating. Parking is possible directly by the cottage (no problems in winter). The nearest shop is 2km away, bus stop 300m, two restaurants 300m (in the hotel Fim and hotel Repiská). There is a large meadow, fireplace with seating and barbecue by the cottage.
Recreation and services in surroundings
Summer season - activities: Liptovská Mara dam (swimming, surfing, fishing), thermal swimming pools - Bešeňová (all year round), Liptovský Ján, Aquapark Tatralandia. Tourism in the Low, Western and High Tatras and in the Choč Mountains. Also available: rafting, paragliding, climbing, caving. There are many hiking trails around the cottage. Winter season - activities: downhill skiing - Jasná pod Chopkom - (2km, possibility of skiing to the cottage), Liptovský Mikuláš - Podbreziny, Liptovský Ján - Javorovica (10km). Cross-country skiing 500m. Year-round: Demänovská Cave of Freedom (5 minutes on foot), Demänovská Ice Cave (30 minutes on foot along the hiking trail), open-air museum in Pribylina (18km).
